I’m very bubbly, outgoing and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I’m a wife, mom to an active 4 year old boy, our soon-to-be little girl and our fluffy house bunny. Coffee is great! I tend to always be on the go and if I could hike & be in the mountains for every session, I. in. HEAVEN. 😊
Here’s a bit about myself as a photographer, so you know what you’re “getting into” and get a sense of the fun you
’ll have at your session. I’ve been doing photography since 2011, but it’s been a big part of my life through all the stages of my childhood long before I started my own portrait photography business. I also work alongside two other companies as second and main shooters for weddings + portrait sessions when needed. As a photographer my style is a mix of posed and documentary with an editing style consisting of bright, true to life colors. My eyes are trained to see composition, details (those oh so tiny details) and imagery while my heart is intuitively capturing your love and connection. I look for and capture true moments of joy while creating natural portraits of the most important people in your life. We may start with formal portraits, but as those nerves settle, we laugh together and you whisper in your partners ear… the real magic begins when you stop paying attention to the camera and focus on the person/people next to you. I try to blend into the scene and catch those authentic moments as they unfold. My favorite thing about each customized portrait session is getting to meet (you) and work with a variety of people, age groups, different cultures, different attitudes, different dreams, and unique stories (the good, the bad, the ugly). My main goal is to make sure you feel confident and excited about your portrait session while capturing the current story. Clients I’ve had said, I put them at ease and made it so easy to get gorgeous images while having a great time. I care about you and strive to create artful photos of the loved ones in your life. Whether you’re looking for someone to document your journey through birth & motherhood, important milestones, engagement & weddings or something entirely different, selecting a photographer can be tricky. Of course, you need someone talented and creative, but you also want someone you can build a relationship with, trust and enjoy working with so that you are relaxed and happy in your photos.
