Kara Counard (thats me!) is a Wisconsin-based lifestyle and wedding photographer, but her camera loves to travel. She loves capturing all those little moments that really add up to the big stuff. There is less posing and more real-life beauty. You can remember those everyday things your children did at a certain age. Your shoot is dedicated to telling the story of your family. Or you can look back

and see the story of your wedding day, told in photographs that really captured the essence of the day, instead of lots of props and stylized scenes. You get to be yourself. I realized I never shared Scott and Anne's Jacksonport Wedding!
And that's easily remedied, because I had a preview for them ages ago!
I was only there for a few hours. But we really got some great images! I love little weddings. They're so personal.

Anne and Scott are my second wedding up on my editing list. So, I should be finished soon-ish!

My old list.. and my newest up to date list (until I take Garrettā€™s senior photos tonight).

I am almost finished with Toni and Darrenā€™s wedding. I have 3/4 folders finished. I am just about to upload and deliver Jamesonā€™s senior photos. I desperately need to finish the next couple things on my list. But I also have a full week. I had a few reschedules this week. So, I think thatā€™s a blessing. Because I might have time, later in the week, to get back to my month-out deadlines for regular sessions. I also really want to share all the photos Iā€™ve been taking.. your faces are all so beautiful!!

It certainly doesnā€™t help when I take about 4,500 photos at a single engagement session, like I did last night. (Thanks, Cass and Ryan ā¤ļø)
Goodness.

The self portrait is made with a computer screen.. which is exactly how I look every late night and early morning and afternoon that I donā€™t have a camera in my hand.

This season has been amazing and so full.. and weā€™re not even to fall, yet!
