Have you been to the Porcupine Mountains?

I always wanted to go since my friend told me about them. Well it kept getting pushed off but it turned out perfectly because I got to tag along as a family photographer for her mom this fall! 😍

So of course I had to snap a few landscape photos here and there!

Tulle skirt and sparkly sneakers in the city? Umm yes please!! 💃📸

I love shooting in the city too! You can get some really cool locations if you just look around and while I think I'm more country at heart my husband says otherwise haha...

Idk what he's talking about... 🤣 Maybe my love for convenience? I love being near friends. I love bougie food. I could go on but really anywhere I can be creative makes me happy.

When told me her vision the search was on for the perfect tulle skirt. I now know which one I'd recommend because this one was just perfect!! (Maybe this is the time where I should have ManyChat automations set up? LOL) If you want the link let me know.

I'd love to work with a stylist in the future for client shoots or photograph clients who already have the vision for themselves again just like Erin did.

I just want to spend the remaining days of Wisconsin summer and fall in fields with horses!!! 📸🌾🍂

Is your session next?

It was amazing to come back and see the difference in Peyton and Bandit's relationship in 2024 vs. 2021. Even if I didn't get to watch them train thanks to the internet I would still be able to tell they've done the work. Their energy is so calm and familiar now and it's absolutely heartwarming to see how at ease and connected they are with each other. I can tell in both their expressions and that just makes me so happy to see their transformation. 💓

I'll save that comparison for another post because my photography equipment got upgraded and my skills have also improved! In fact I was having pause about jumping back into equine photography before my shoots with Ashlie and Peyton because it really is a whole new skillset to pose not only a human but a horse as well but I wanted to take a stab at it again with my new camera and updated skills. (Any volunteers to come be my on call assistant who shakes grain, crinkles treats, plays horse sounds, etc. to keep ears up?) Bandit actually is going pro because the last photo is definitely a new favorite of mine - look at those perky ears!!

I left their shoots filled with joy but knowing I still have so much more I could learn to up level to the art I'd like to create. I'd actually been sitting on the idea of flying to Utah for a Cattleman Photography workshop but couldn't quite decide if I was going to go or not. I left Blue Horse Stables inspired and shortly after booked my flight to Utah. Thanks for the inspiration Peyton & Ashlie!

Airbnb shoot today highlighting proximity to Lambeau for the 2025 Draft. It’s a sweet property! 🏡

And just outside of me needing to get a LAANC - but the new apps were being a pain today and wouldn’t allow me to adjust my flight location. Plus a few other things. Thankful always picks up for me when I need to talk through situations ❤️

Also my first time seeing a bird of prey while flying so I had to be strategic and careful to get away. 🦅

Things I had to watch out for and be mindful of today:
- Powerlines
- Birds
- Trees
- Planes

And in the past:
- Rain
- High Wind

Overall a successful shoot and excited to get them to my client!

Introducing the "hot corporate girly" aesthetic!! 🔥💻🩷

Thanks to my girlfriend Kerstyn for trusting me to carry out her creative vision - I'm obsessed!! Also thanks for being willing to pose with some of my backyard peonies (yes I chopped them in the middle of our session 🤣) just for fun because I wanted to be 'artsy'.🌸

And thanks to my mother in law selling some of her backdrops I am now in permanent possession of these colorful backdrops for any of my clients and I'm ready to shoot more studio photos ASAP after this shoot! It's a VIBE! 😍

Mandolin Foundation Limited is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by Paula Jolly whose own daughter struggled with addiction. Mandolin Foundation serves women in recovery from addiction in Green Bay, Wisconsin and surrounding areas by providing them with housing and resources. A unique aspect of their program is that they allow children to live with their mothers at their location Amanda's House which is uncommon in sober living facilities.

It was an honor to work with the Mandolin Foundation board and Leadership Green Bay to bring this project to life and raise awareness through this video and I am truly humbled and honored by everyone I intereviewed who shared their story!! ❤❤❤
