Early dawn color or first sunrise light?

I often shoot a few sheets of a scene as sunrise progresses, starting off with vibrant sky colors and glow on the landscape. My final sheet will typically be during that first minute where the sun crests over the horizon, illuminating the subject in warm light. There's such a different feel to the images and choosing the keeper is tough!
