Just a little Monday yapping at the studio. I’ve been reflecting on how the Northern Colorado creative community has been growing over the years. It’s honestly really special to witness as I know so many have put in TONS of work to brighten the creative scene in this region. I just wanted to share some thoughts that have been on my mind on what our collective growth signals, and what I believe that sustained effort has made possible.

Quick little set up with our moveable arch wall. These fabric pieces are in our closet, and can be easily hung from the rafters with clips (also in closet) and by utilizing our four foot step ladder.

This was lit with our RGB light that’s available to you when you rent the studio! We set it up for you and tear it down if you add it onto your booking. I chose to just have barn doors as a modifier and a 60degree honeycomb on this approach.

We specifically try to leave our space a blank space, but then have various props and tools for you to customize it to fit your vision! This is just one example of how you could leverage this wall and fabric.

One thing I absolutely adore is how this space allows me to document YOU.

I love when you run around and your kiddos get to do the wiggle.

I love when you have to take a moment during our session to provide snacks to your toddlers or nourish your baby.

I love when we accidentally get all teary mid-session because we realize how much we’ve witnessed of each other through documenting life.

I love when it feels like chaos, but you have no idea how precious your family is being.

I love how real this studio allows me to photograph my clients. Wide open spaces of neutrality to just highlight YOU. And amplifying your existence…well, that makes my whole world go round.

Kind of dying that this was 8pm last night. Yes, I had my ISO up, but still lol these summer nights approaching are crazy! Also, a moment for the black and white lines and shapes in our studio. 🧡 Love the vibes!

The moving wall officially has black back on one side of it! Flip it around and our arch side is present. Two totally different vibes to accentuate your work!
