Heikkila Photography Hi, I'm Allison and I’m here for those willing to take a chance and explore the world around them! Weird timing right?! Not at all really.

Montana has such a beauty that I'm so happy to call it my home. I love to try and find the curiosities and beauty of this city and state. Whether that be a simple fishing access or a broken down building that has a lot of character that helps portray a client's personality and style, I'm all about that and I'm also up for any adventures that people have to offer! I am self taught in different area

s and with most education being high school. Besides that, it's youtube, photography magazines, mentors and whatever else I can get my hands on that I learn from. I really enjoy learning by experimentation and hands on experience when it comes to capturing the beauty of the image. A little about me apart from the photography aspect is I love the mountains, adventures, traveling and anything that requires me to use my artistic side. I've lived in Montana my whole life, went to public school for most of it and was even homeschooled for a year my junior year. It was a great timing on my end but went back to public school to finish off my senior year with all of my fellow peers. I do want to eventually move my career into being a music photographer. "What exactly does that mean?" some of you would say. Well, to clear that up, it means that I would want to build my profession off of capturing incredible moments under an artist's spotlight and lifestyle. Every moment is a different image to capture and every venue is a different experience. Everything's changing in the music world and being able to capture that would be a remarkable career to have. One goal of mine, at the moment, is to travel with a band and capture their time on tour, travel and be able to enjoy the adventure in life. I know that's just the basics but that's all I have for now. Have an adventurous day,
Allison Heikkila

I was scared of the lighting this day, not going to lie.
If anyone knows anything about photos and daylight is that you don’t want to shoot at high noon unless it’s completely overcast. This day was bright, sunny, windy (classic Montana) and we had some coverage and I was blown away with the results for shooting around noon!

J.P. And Madison
Ladies, I want to make an announcement and let you know that accessories and intentionality can elevate a photo by a million! Whether that be a hat, a pearl necklace or a statement lip color- it can make an outfit that much more fun!

Glacier is worth it at least a session or two. You get the views, the memories and some STUNNING photos to display in your home.
When you’re planning a trip to Glacier for photos, there are a few things you’ll want to look into:

1. If they’re requiring a pass for the current season.
2. When the Going to the Sun Road opens and closes for the season.
3. When the peak busy times are
4. Places to pull off at to be able to get out and walk around. You want a spot where you can utilize the space for more than 1 shot.
5. Weather checks. Getting hit with a spring snow storm and crazy wind is kind of obnoxious but you’re already there and sometimes you just have to fully commit even if conditions are less than ideal.

Overall, if you can handle the weather, crowds and traffic, Glacier is a place you definitely will not regret visiting and getting your photos done. Just make sure to invest in a photographer who knows the area and their work can attest to that. It’ll help the process go way smoother.

A teacher. Musician. An artist.
There’s probably a few more that I’m missing but little Allison was a DREAMER.
And she dreamed big. Music was the dream and even had one of her songs played on a Sunday morning at a little ol’ church in like Conrad, MT.
God had a different dream.
I still don’t know what I’m doing in the sense of I don’t know what this business is going to look like in 5 years but I do know is that I’m along for the ride.
You can dream big, no problem but if God has a say in your life and in your plans, He dreams bigger. My life is an example of exactly that.
