A month after the CTF ride, I just got round to looking at the photos. I got to thank a few of my caregivers from Smilow. I'm so thankful for their help in getting me through treatment! Terry was my first oncology nurse and has been in the cheering line each year at Smilow Cancer Hospital. I finally stopped to thank her!

Another month, another surprise! Last month I got a cover photo of my old K75RT. This month, I flipped through my copy of OTL (the official publication of the BMW Riders Association ) and on the last page was a membership appeal - with me in the photo!. Cool! It is a great organization and the magazine is top notch. If you are a BMW rider (or just like motorcycles) membership is reasonable. The rallies are small compared to other organizations, but that just makes them even more fun. I was camped near the two guys (sorry - I am terrible with names) in the photo and we had a few beers, shared stories, and learned about new gear!

I finally got to see Devil's Tower in Wyoming (sans flying saucers :( ). The prairie dog town was active, too.

At Cedar Swamp on the parkway, I was able to get a good closeup of a dragonfly. I saw the turtle on the log and shot at my longest focal length. I did not notice his companion until I was cropping the photo at the hotel!
