When a couple trusts you to travel across the country for their elopement it’s not just a job, it’s a gift. These two came all the way from Ohio to say their vows among giants and I got to be the one to capture their story. 🥹

There’s something so special about photographing a love that feels like coming home.

Krista and Mak have been building their world together for 7 years and they welcomed me into their little universe like an old friend. When we scouted locations the night before, we ended up right back at the walking path just 10 minutes from their front door. They told me about the sunrises and sunsets they’ve shared here, the quiet mornings and golden evenings that make up the fabric of their everyday life.

So the next morning we took it slow. We stopped at their favorite little spots, soaked in the beautiful weather, and let them just be. The laughter, the soft touches, the way they look at each other after all this time, it was like a breath of fresh air. 🌼

(And yes, I got to meet their two adorable puppies during our scout the night before!! It was the best kind of pre session date)
