I often find myself coming back to look at this image. It's one of my absolute favorites.
It wasn't a magical moment where I suddenly became a photographer overnight. (Although it *almost* felt like that)
It was the moment where I realized that all the little things I'd been working on were starting to come together. That focusing on equine specific photography was the best move I could have made.
Every session and every image teaches me something. But this one felt like a turning point creatively. "Equine Fine Art" was finally something I could start to pursue and feel confident doing so.
It's a pretty awesome feeling, I tell ya!
Also, something about a gray horse will always get me! Thank you for being such a photogenic and gorgeous boy, Finn 🩶
