I have produced eight solo photography books (five of them educational books) including "The Berkshires" (2007), a 128-page coffee-table style book of imagery from Berkshire County Massachusetts, and "Barns of the Berkshires", (March, 2009). My third book of photography, the groundbreaking "Along Route 7: A Journey Through Western New England" was released in October, 2009 and has received widespread critical acclaim. The 330-image book explores the vast cultural, historical, recreational, and visual treasures that Route 7 offers those who travel this great American byway. In 2013 Stephen G. Donaldson photography, inc. assumed ownership of "The Berkshires" and became the publisher of a Revised 2nd Edition of the book which has over 40 new photographs and 16 pages added to the book. During his tenure as Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick gave "The Berkshires" as an Official Gift of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts to V.I.P's and dignitaries who visited the Statehouse, and when he traveled on economic and goodwill missions for the Commonwealth. My stock photography catalog contains over 250,000 images with a geographic emphasis on New England, Western Europe, South East Asia, and South & Central America. My images have appeared in over 30 other books; several nationally circulated periodicals; travel magazines including Sherman's Travel Magazine, Sojourns and Endless Vacations; newspapers, including the New York Times and The Financial Times of London; regional lifestyle and business magazines including Bloomberg Business, Berkshire Living, and Berkshire Magazine; and on calendars, annual reports, and billboards across the United States and throughout the world.
