Love Lives Here is a multimedia storytelling project created by my client and friend, Lisa-Erika James. She celebrates the Black Joy and triumph of her elders as well as showcasing the complexity of human experience.

I recently attended one of her exhibitions in Ypsilanti, Michigan, her home town, to share in her experience. I encourage everyone to take a look. Lisa-Erika has created an beautiful and unusual experience for herself, family and all who wish to experience her joy.

Hi Friends:

Do you really need to save your printed photos?

I was challenged with this question myself this year. I am working on my own Family History Photo book. I sorted, organized and scanned. Which printed photos do I need to keep? I decided to keep my parents and grandparents black and white photos. Some are framed, others I want to share. As for the rest, they are now gone as I can share the digital collection with my family. Hope my info helps you!

This is a personal choice! Having the physical image provides an opportunity for sharing a memory or story.

There are beautiful and functional archival options for storing physical images in a reduced space.
