A lot has changed recently.

Some of my memories, photos, conversations, and years of connections disappeared in ways I never expected. While it's been difficult, it's also reminded me of something I've always believed:

Moments matter.

The baby who won't stay little.
The senior year that flies by.
The family gathering where everyone is together.
The smile of someone you love.

Life changes. Seasons pass. People leave footprints on our hearts that can never be replaced.

That's why photography will always be more than a business to me.

It's preserving memories.
It's freezing moments that become treasures years later.
It's giving people something tangible to hold onto when time keeps moving forward.

Whether I book one session or one hundred, I don't see myself ever walking away from photography. It has always been a passion of mine, and now more than ever, I understand just how valuable photographs truly are.

✨ Small Business Spotlight Update ✨

I wanted to share a quick update regarding the Small Business Spotlights!

To keep things moving and give as many businesses as possible the opportunity to be featured, businesses selected for a spotlight will need to respond within 24–48 hours of being contacted.

If I don’t receive a response within that timeframe, I will redraw another business so that the spotlight can continue and another local business has the chance to be featured.

This isn’t meant to leave anyone out—it’s simply to help keep the program active and ensure each spotlight opportunity is used.

Thank you to everyone who participates, nominates businesses, and supports local small businesses. I can’t wait to continue showcasing the amazing businesses in our community! ❤️

❤️ Bittersweet Milestones

Today was my daughter’s last day walking the halls of her elementary school — her last time hanging her backpack in that same spot, her last time passing the fifth‑grade classrooms, her last time being “the big kid” in this building.

So of course… I had to take pictures.
Not just for today, but for the future.

My plan is to recreate these hallway photos again on her last day of middle school… and then again when she’s a senior in high school. Same girl, same heart, same smile — just growing, learning, becoming. I already know those side‑by‑side photos are going to hit me right in the chest one day.

These moments are so bittersweet.
You blink, and suddenly they’re not little anymore.
You blink again, and they’re walking into a whole new chapter.

If you’d love to capture this milestone for your child too — their last day of elementary, middle, or high school — I’d be honored to photograph it for you.
I’m offering a simple milestone package: $40 for 10 edited images in an online gallery.

Because these hallways hold so many memories… and they deserve to be remembered.
