A Little Heart-to-Heart 💛

To everyone who is still patiently waiting for their gallery—thank you. Truly.

This season of life has been a lot. Between Matt’s ongoing medical issues, getting my oldest ready for and moved into college, and jumping straight into a new school year, my brain and my heart have been pulled in a lot of different directions.

While the part you see is me showing up with my camera and capturing your memories, there is a lot that happens afterward. Culling, editing, choosing the right images, making all those little adjustments, and getting a gallery just right takes a tremendous amount of mental focus.

And lately, I simply haven’t had that mental bandwidth as consistently as I normally do.

I could rush through your galleries just to get them delivered faster, but that isn't the kind of photographer I want to be. You trusted me with your memories, and I want the finished gallery to reflect the quality and care I hold myself to.

So if you're still waiting, please know that I haven't forgotten you. Your images are important to me, and I am working through them as I can—with the same care I would give them in a season when life wasn't quite so full.

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your grace. And most of all, thank you for continuing to trust Laura Dixon Photography with your memories. 💛
