School is starting for a lot of our kids and it’s a great time to start thinking about booking your senior sessions! Fall is fast approaching and is a very popular time to book a session so don’t wait until the leaves start changing to book your session or it may be too late.

Last night my nerdy little heart was on cloud nine! This was my first time seeing the northern lights and I honestly didn’t think it was possible to see them like this in Northern California. We are lucky enough to be tucked away where it gets dark enough to see some pretty epic stars and the Milky Way on any given night, but this was breathtaking! It was much fainter to the naked eye, but you could still see the streaks and faint color. The colors are straight out of camera and watching them dance across the sky was so magical!

Now offering Mother’s Day minis! April 21st and 22nd I am offering these 20 minute sessions out in a beautiful location shown in these model images. Each example shows the same location in different wether conditions to show the versatility it has to offer. The session fee will be $275 for 15 images. This is the perfect opportunity to give your mother or grandmother a gift she will cherish for the rest of her life. Often times moms are the ones documenting their family and are left out of being in photos. This is a way to make sure she is front and center with her children. These sessions are for moms of all types and ages. From elderly mothers with grown children, parents of young children or teens and expecting mothers. See time slots below for availability. Happy Easter from these little cuties. I hope that everyone had a relaxing day with their loved ones. Indie has been obsessed with planes from the time she was a tiny baby. As an infant she would stop crying the second she heard one and fixate on its location in the sky. Even now as a 3 year old she will still run to the window or drop whatever she is doing to watch them until they vanish from sight. In the middle of snapping a few photos of my own babies after a session a plane flew overhead. Indie snatched up the paper airplanes we had been playing with and held it to the sky in hopes that the pilot would see her plane. She tells me all the time she wants to be a pilot. I can’t wait to see if that dream ever comes to fruition. For now I will hold onto this tender moment 💕

That newborn bubble is a period in time that goes by way too fast. Where time stands still within the walls of your home as the rest of the world continues to spin on around you. The nights may be long and your body sore and healing, but nothing is sweeter than the squishy newborn stage. Particularly with the first and you don’t have other littles that need you. When you can just fully immerse yourself in this time and soak up every last moment.

It will never get old getting to be a small part of these moments. It is an honor to be present for all your grand milestones and all of the mundane days in between. Brooke is a NICU nurse and after spending years loving and doting on the fragile little souls of her patients and their families she gets to be a mama to her own sweet babe. Some people were just made to be a mama and she is definitely one of them.
Seeing that little black and white silhouette at your first sonogram is such an incredible feeling. I remember it vividly with all of my babies and it is a joy that is palpable every time I have the honor of documenting a maternity session. I cannot wait to watch these two become parents and I am just so excited for the journey they are about to embark on. 💕
