Talent this week was to be addressed as āMr. Presidentā.
I got to light President George W. Bush in his private residence at the Bush Library. Arguably one of the most iconic presidents for me growing up as I watched him handle a grieving nation in the time of 9/11, and because he was a Dallas boy, āfrom the home teamā here in Texas just a few miles from me for my whole life.
I had the honor of covering 41ās Funeral a few years ago in Houston, so working with 43, and having Tim Cook interview him after my years at  was a cool full circle moment.
W was the absolute nicest guy, and he showed me some of his paintings and I got to tell him Iād seen many of them in person and how wonderful they are šš»āāļø
Today was a good day. No matter what side of politics you sit on, it was an influential day.
(Oh, we wore masks the entire time until Bush asked us for a photo, because who wants a photo with the President with a mask on, and Bush insisted we remove them) (we were also all tested beforehand)
