I am so very pleased!!! and Surprised!
TWO THIRD PLACE RIBBONS
I received 3 rd Place in the Texas State Fair in Ceramics in 104 Texture and also Ceramics 105 Miscellaneous.
the large image and image on the left is the interior 3rd in Texture- the exterior is hand textured with slip while the interior uses blue glass on the very bottom where it reflects and is transparent.
The 105 class is the bottom right image.- using the Running Hot Chowder glaze effect to move the glazes I expressed a pattern indicative of nature.

I took a big leap and entered the Texas State Fair. as pointed out the state of texas is huge so getting in will be a fluke. but this is the outside and the inside of a bowl I made. the very center of the inside is a dark blue glass, the clay body Dark Chocolate, slip textured with stoned denim and a bit of magic inside......
