Total eclipse of the sun 2024.
It was too close not drive so that we could experience totality. It lasted just under 3 minutes in Bellville, OH. Great experience!

USS Shenandoah Airship Crash 1925, Caldwell, Ohio

I come into contact with some pretty unique images to restore, this was no exception. This was the first ridged airship for the US Navy, the USS Shenandoah. It crashed during a thunderstorm in 1925. These images were taken by Kathy Rutinger’s grandfather, formally from Newark, Ohio. The crash site was heavily looted and I am told many of these images were taken before some of this happened.
