It’s a Cowgirl Summer here and we just wrapped up fair week here in Oregon. This year felt in particular like a long one with horse fair beginning now in Josephine County taking us all the way from July into August✨
Love watching this girl grow up and what an amazing equestrian she is becoming 🫶🏻

What if I told you of a stargazing elopement picnic on the edge of the ocean under hazy purple skies today?✨🔭💜
This day began in sunlit forests and then ended on the Oregon coast here. I loved how they had such a vision for their day in shades of lavender, blues and purple that faded beautifully into the Pacific Northwest twilight.
We watched in awe as Venus and Jupiter made their appearance over the sea 🪐✨
It was an unforgettable night together!

This day was everything coastal and forest wedding dreams are made of ✨🌲
Knowing where the light hits like a dream in exact places in the Redwoods and on the Oregon coast ~ almost down to the exact day and time is so helpful. This is something I appreciate after well over a decade of photographing the region. Weather patterns here vary and I know when we personally eloped it was something I relied on our photographer to know.

The morning light in the forest was unreal on this day~
Soft golden beams poured through the trees while the whole forest still felt quiet and sleepy. It made every little moment feel so natural — the laughter, the wind in the trees, the way they held onto each other like nobody else existed.
