I might be in the minority, but two is one of my favorite ages!

They're fully ready to take on the world and discover everything. I love this age because they're so authentically themselves - they're there to play and have a great time, not sit and pose.

So, yes, my two-year-old makes me break a sweat sometimes, but the photos are always amazingly them because two-year-olds know how to be authentically themselves in a way that us adults could never.

There is something so special about an in-home newborn session where baby is just a little bit older. 🤍

🌸 There is nobody on this earth who will ever love you the way your mama does.

This is the relationship that started it all. The love that made you someone completely brand new.

🌸 I never understood monster trucks.

And then I became a boy mom.

I found them in my purse, in my laundry, under my pillow — and honestly? I wouldn't trade a single one. 🚛💚

My boys are long past this phase and I still get a little happy when I see one. That's the thing about motherhood — it changes you forever, even after the season is over.

Hey, me again. 🤍 And this time, I'm sharing something a little more personal.

I didn't always know I would become a photographer. But looking back, it makes complete sense.

After my second son was born, I had everything I had worked so hard for — the house, the baby, the life I had dreamed of. And it was beautiful. But it was also incredibly hard. The sleepless nights. The crying. The absolute chaos of jugling early motherhood with another little one that nobody fully prepares you for.

Photography found me in that season. 📸

And it changed everything.

Because when I picked up that camera and started freezing those moments — something shifted. I stopped drowning in the hard parts and started seeing the magic in between. I don't look back and remember the exhaustion. I look back and see him. Those tiny hands. That sleepy face. Those fleeting, irreplaceable moments I almost let blur by.

That is exactly what I want to give you, mama.

I know your days are full nights sleepless and happy tears and boogers and all the beautiful, messy, unglamorous parts of raising little ones. 😅 But in the middle of all of it — there are these split seconds of pure magic. Where everything is still and soft and so incredibly worth it.
