Some of the various hood ornaments from cars at the Gilmore Car Museum. Ok, a couple were not on cars… they also had a display with hundreds of hood ornaments, which was pretty cool.

My friend Don and I went to the Gilmore Car Museum yesterday to take photos, and to put fingerprints on every car that had “Please do not touch” signs on them. Every car had one of these signs, so we were busy! All kidding aside, there were hundreds of cars, and they were beautiful.

It was a fun day hanging out together. I have a lot of photos to go through, but here is one for now.

I wandered out to South Haven yesterday evening. Ok, that’s a bit of a lie… I drove out to South Haven. I was hoping for a good sunset because of a lot of puffy clouds all day, but they kind of dispersed around sunset (of course). I still had fun walking around downtown and to the beach and pier (back and fourth a few times) first testing a film camera that I’ve had for a few years, but never used until yesterday, then with a digital camera, then a third time back and fourth with the camera and tripod.

Here are three random shots from as it was getting dark. More to come.
