I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much of running a business actually has nothing to do with business.

We can learn marketing, pricing, SEO, posing, editing, all of it. But we’re still bringing ourselves into our businesses every single day. Our experiences, our fears, the things we believe about ourselves, the way we respond when we mess up or someone doesn’t like what we did.

And sometimes THAT is the thing getting in our way.

This is where my therapist brain and photographer brain get to come together and I love talking about this stuff.

I’m currently working on developing a several week workshop and workbook for photographers and business owners for slow season. We’re going to talk about core beliefs, burnout, boundaries, comparison, creativity, confidence, nervous system regulation and how all of it shows up in the way we run our businesses.

Because sometimes you don’t need another marketing strategy.

Sometimes you need to understand yourself a little better 🫶🏼

rosette little and her fam are from Arkansas and made a little trip to Michigan this past week. I had the honor of showing them one of my favorite little places in west Michigan and she absolutely slayed her senior session. She is definitely a model 😍 I hope you have the best senior year ever!
