⚽🧡 A huge congratulations to Grand Rapids senior Fynn Schlicht on his nomination for the prestigious Mr. Soccer award!

Your teamwork, dedication, and those incredible leaps have been an absolute blast to capture this season!

It's not every season a photographer gets the opportunity to capture the same athlete in two different sports! From the soccer field to the football field, you've certainly given me plenty of memorable moments to photograph!

Congratulations, Fynn! Such a well-deserved recognition! And with the Thunderhawks headed to state, this story is still being written... to be continued! 🧡🖤📸

⚽📸 When you're trying to photograph a Section Championship game, but the flags have other plans... 😂

Believe it or not, this is my photographic masterpiece of the FIRST GOAL OF THE GAME! 🏆

I promise there are actual soccer players in these photos somewhere. Apparently the flags were just as excited about the championship as everyone else. 😂

The Grand Rapids Boys Soccer Section 7AA Championship gallery is READY! 🧡🖤

📸 $50 gets you ALL the photos I captured of your athlete from the game! No picking favorites, no purchasing individual images. Just one price for every photo of your player.

The easiest way to find the galleries is to head over to theunrulyshutter DOT com and navigate to the sports galleries!

Yes, we're still spelling out DOT because apparently Facebook thinks my website is a bigger threat than a soccer ball flying at my head. 🙃

We know what this means, do you?

Sometimes our words carry a heavier burden than we could ever imagine.

A careless comment. A cruel nickname. A story told and retold until it becomes the only thing people remember about someone.

We rarely stop to think about how deeply those words might hurt, or how many people beyond that person might carry their weight.

Some words are forgotten in an instant. Others leave echoes that last for generations.

Be kind. Be gentle. Behind every story is a human being, and behind every human being are people who love them.

🚨 Apparently, Facebook and outside links are no longer on speaking terms. 🙄

And Messenger seems to have joined the party. 😂

If you’re having trouble opening galleries, downloading your photos, or getting links to cooperate while using Facebook or Messenger, here’s a little trick!

Skip the Facebook/Messenger browser entirely! Open Safari, Chrome, or your favorite browser and type:

📸 theunrulyshutter DOT COM

That’s an actual dot (.) between theunrulyshutter and com. We’re just spelling it out because apparently we’re speaking in code now. 🤫

From there, you can head straight to the galleries and download your photos without Facebook or Messenger getting in the way.

While you’re there, go ahead and bookmark the website! That way, you can skip Facebook’s shenanigans entirely next time.

Thanks for supporting The Unruly Shutter, where the photos are unruly, and apparently so are the links. 🧡📸

P.S. Stitch has absolutely nothing to do with this post. He’s just here to feed the algorithm. 😂💙

Just so everyone knows…especially his mom…I DO know how to take photos of the keeper. Even practiced before state and everything. 😂📸

And yes, I said keeper. I’ve watched Ted Lasso. I’m basically qualified.

🏆⚽ SECTION 7AA CHAMPIONS! ⚽🏆

A HUGE congratulations to the Grand Rapids Boys Soccer team on bringing home the Section 7AA Championship!

What an incredible game to watch! Both teams came ready to fight for that title, and both left everything they had on the field. The energy, determination, and heart from both sides made this one a whole lot of fun to photograph!

Congratulations, Thunderhawks! 🧡🖤

P.S. Rumor has it there might be a familiar face on the sidelines at State… camera in hand, questionable sense of humor, and just a little unruly. 😉📸

🏈📸 Better late than never!

Sorry for the delay, but the Grand Rapids Freshmen vs. Deer River JV Football gallery is finally up!

I don't always get the opportunity to photograph Deer River sports, so this one was especially fun! Loved getting a chance to capture some action from both teams!

📸 Looking for your favorite player? Head to the pinned post at the top of my page for the link to all my sports galleries. Your football photos are waiting!

🌧️⚽ A little rain wasn't stopping the Thunderhawks!

It was a wet and wild Section 7AA semifinal matchup between Grand Rapids and North Branch, but the Thunderhawks came away with the WIN! 💪

Next up: Grand Rapids takes on Cloquet TOMORROW NIGHT (10/20) at home for the Section Championship! 🧡🖤

Let's pack the sidelines and cheer these boys on!

📸 Game photos are up! The link pinned at the top of my page will take you to the main sports gallery. A few clicks from there, and you're right where you need to be!

⚽ Grand Rapids Girls Soccer vs. Duluth Denfeld

This gallery has turned into a bit of an adventure! 😂 First, a HUGE thank you to the parents who have already purchased photos and supported The Unruly Shutter this season. I appreciate you more than you know!

📸 I'm offering something a little different!

For $50 per athlete, you'll receive ALL the photos I captured of your athlete from this game!

🧮 A little photographer math! Take a peek first. Depending on how many photos your athlete is in, purchasing individual images through SmugMug might actually be the better deal!

Want the $50 deal? Message me or Venmo with your athlete's jersey number in the note. I'll move their photos into a password-protected prepaid gallery.

Please do NOT check out through SmugMug for the $50 deal!

🏒 And speaking of changes...

Starting with winter sports, The Unruly Shutter is moving to a pre-booking model! You'll be able to reserve coverage for your athlete ahead of time, which means more time capturing moments families want and less time editing photos nobody asked for! 😂

I'll still be photographing games, but pre-booking will be the best way to make sure your athlete gets some camera time.

More details coming soon! 🧡🖤

🔗 Gallery link in the comments! You can also find my main sports gallery in the pinned post at the top of my page. Facebook is making outside links a bit of a pain! 🙃
