Patrick + Grace's wedding was one of my favorites last year, and here's why:

1. Wonderful people attract wonderful friends, and this whole day was so full of love and support. It was genuine and palpable.
2. Their style read botanical beauty meets architecture. Whimsical flowers, natural light, springy patterns, and the modern, clean lines of Baltimore Museum of Art were an incredible combination that made my heart happy.
3. Their day was full of little touches that made it genuine and not performative: intentional time spent with their people, a David Sedaris reading during the ceremony, a Starbucks break in the middle of portraits, a conga line which turned into the best dance party to close out the night.... 10/10. Love. No notes.

My tree is up, my Thanksgiving leftovers are almost gone, and snow is coming down fast - but mentally, I'm still here, amongst the gorgeous fall colors! I am almost finished with my 2024 photo season and I cannot wait for what 2025 has in store!

Hannah & Luke's engagement session was an absolute joy. Going on walks is one of their favorite pastimes together, so these shots on the park trail felt extra sweet and meaningful. I can't wait to photograph their wedding! 🥰

Hi. 😊 I'm Ruth. I make my living by documenting other people's milestones. The fact that they welcome me to do so is a tremendous honor. Here are some facts about me!

I'm an Enneagram 2 Wing 3, and if I wasn't a photographer, I'd be a pastry chef.

My favorite activity is traveling somewhere new and seeking out their best coffee and pastries.

One of my biggest regrets is not learning a second (spoken) language as a child. Five years of Latin only gets you so far.

Weddings are my specialty, but I equally love engagements, branding, and theater headshots.

As 2023 draws to a close, I am once again so thankful for everyone who supported my small business. This year's success not only means that I can pay bills - it means I can go into the new year, confident that my clients will come through and support me despite not fully knowing what the year holds. It's still scary- but something I'm very proud of. ☺️
