IT'S TIME! Announcing Fall Mini Sessions 2026 ⬇

The perfect location for cozy fall vibes, featuring the most stunning fall foliage in the background. Enjoy a crisp, fall day, exploring with your littles at the Huff Park Nature Preserve. These documentary-styled sessions feature a nostalgic, filmy edit and focus on capturing candid, authentic moments. Enjoy keepsake photos, that go beyond the typical selfie with your family.

Huff Park Nature Preserve Mini Sessions:
▪️Sunday, October 25th (Rain Date is set for Sunday, November 1st. Same location & same time slot as originally booked)
▪️Time slots available from 1:30pm-5pm
▪️30 min sessions, immediate family only (must book full one our session to include extended family members)
▪️Maximum of 30 web-sized photos (high resolution available for purchase, and sold separately)
▪️2 week turnaround time
Paid in full at booking | $135

Photos with your kiddos do not have to be “perfect.”

We were getting ready to do our bedtime routine, and while I was getting the bath ready, I found my daughter playing with my sunglasses and makeup.

She asked to put on lipstick, and for me to do the same so we could match. We both were laughing as we admired our makeup in the reflection. We made silly faces, and gave each other “lipstick kisses.”

I ran to grab my film camera, and just documented the moment as is. No guidance or direction, no prepping either of us to be “photo ready.” Raw documentation of this sweet moment between mother & daughter.

As a mom & photographer, I’m rarely in front of the camera. I have so many photos of my daughter with my husband, but so few of her & I together.

Here’s my advice… take the pictures. Take the raw, candid moments of you with your kiddos. Whether it’s a selfie, mirror photo, or short video. These will be the photos your children look back on when they are older, the ones with you actually in them.

Guess what? These photos are my new favorite of the two of us. Not because they are the best photos we’ve ever taken, but because it’s one of our mundane moments captured forever.

Before embarking on my college journey, I had dreams of becoming a wedding photographer.

However, after shooting five small weddings during my time in school, I quickly realized that this path wasn't for me. Wedding photography is quite the challenge! The days are long, and the editing process can feel endless!

That said, I always refer wedding inquiries to others. Yet, when my father-in-law asked me to document his small wedding last month, I couldn't refuse!

Their ceremony took place by a beautiful waterfall in our hometown, surrounded by family and close friends. My husband served as their officiant, and our daughter had the role of flower girl. It was truly a special morning.

Capturing my family's milestones is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. I feel incredibly fortunate to document new relationships, growing families, and all of life's celebrations.
