When big brother comes in ready to rock for newborn photos! You never know what you are going to get with your toddler during family photos and big Brother, Archie was so into photos with his baby brother, Conrad! Nathan and Jackie told me they had some different pants picked for the photos for Archie and it wasn’t worth the fight (IYKYK) so he ended up in his green pants; is this not the most relatable thing you’ve ever heard if you are a toddler parent!? I think the green pants will go down as a memorable moment when they look back at the photos.

The most perfect duo: Blaire & Everly. I was pregnant with my twins when I photographed Zach and Alison’s wedding and here they are with twins in their arms! I love already being able to see Blaire & Everly’s different personalities. Can’t wait to see them grow! They are perfect. Fun fact, I got to photograph two sets of twins in the same week.

I got to photograph the sweetest boy/girl twins a couple weeks ago and it brought me right back to the feeling of our twins when they were newborns. That was only 2 years ago for me and it honestly is hard to remember already; things were a blur with so many emotions but I do remember the feeling of pure joy to have two babies in our arms. Photos in your home help you hold onto those feelings and that’s why I love photographing newborns with their families. It may be the last thing you want to do when you have a newborn but the images help you hold on. Don’t skip the photos because those are the memories we hold onto the longest.
