HI! It's Friday, and
I thought I would introduce myself because I have not yet on this page. I'm Jacki, owner and photographer of Jackalyn Drew Photography, Jesus lover, coffee obsessed, wife to an amazing man, mama to the most incredible little boy, and fur mama to four. I've always had a passion for photography. I could go back YEARS to find random photos of rocks, trees, animal photos on anything and everything that had a camera. I decided to start pushing myself more and more and take it more serious in 2017. I discovered my love and passion for weddings and couples and put myself out there best as I could. When I put myself out there I was offered a second shooter position with Maria Lewis Photography . Maria has surly become one of my closest friends and she reminds me of my worth all the time. I'm so grateful for her and all she has taught me over the past 4 years and still continues. I couldn't ask for a better person/friend to help push me to my goals. I know I've been on and off with this account, but I have not given up on my passion of Photography. It's been a rough time when my son was born 2 months early. It really put a pause on my goals for my business as he was and is my main priority. As we're still struggling with some issues with our son, I'm slowly trying to get back into the rhythm of things and continue to go forth and grow my business. Even though I haven't been completely active on here, it doesn't mean I haven't stopped Photographing weddings, couples, families, etc. With weddings of my own and helping second shoot with Maria I have been busy, and I'm so grateful for that.
If you made it this far in the post, I want to say thank you for reading, thank you for sticking around, and thank you for those that are new to following me.
This morning I woke up feeling ambitious to take some photos of my son and I in our back yard before the snow melted. Well it was a fail, but I was able to capture these few photos before my son's nap. Messy hair, muddy shoes, tripods, clickers and all!
