A heartfelt Catholic ceremony at St. Gerard Church, an intimate reception at the Opera House, and a day woven together with Renaissance-inspired details, whimsical florals, and the people who matter most.

It wasn’t about putting on a big production, it was about creating a space where they could simply be together, surrounded by love.

A little reminder today and every day: your love is worthy of being celebrated exactly as it is.

Getting to tell stories like this is one of the reasons I love what I do. Every couple deserves to feel seen, supported, safe, and fully themselves on their wedding day. No shrinking, no explaining, no fitting into someone else’s version of what love is supposed to look like.

Love is love. It always has been.

To all my LGBTQ+ couples, whether you’re planning a wedding, celebrating an engagement, building a family, or simply living your truth; I see you, I’m cheering you on, and I’m honored every time you trust me to document your story.

She said YES 💍✨

One of my favorite things about moments like this is getting to freeze the emotions exactly as they happen, the nerves, the excitement, the “wait is this actually happening?!” feeling, and then all the little moments after. We also snuck in some portraits afterward and these two absolutely understood the assignment 🥹

Frederik Meijer Gardens gave us the prettiest backdrop for a pretty big question ❤️
