Taylor reached out to me way back in 2024, asking if I can capture her wedding on film. I never knew that within these last 2 years, a friendship would have grown. Homegirl has been through a lot with wedding planning, having to move dates around, and bringing new life into the world. But at the end of the day, Logan and Taylor’s wedding day proved how loved they are. It was sentimental, full of tears, laughter, and joy. A day I’m so proud that we got to capture for her.

Super thankful for for helping me capture the video side of things while I captured photo!

It’s been 2 years since I last introduced myself…oops!

HELLOOOOOO!

My name is Anissa Villanueva! I’m the owner of NissaJ Photography + Film! I’ve been capturing sessions since 2017, and weddings since 2020!

My approach to photography and videography is very candid and documentary! I’ll guide you through a bunch of prompts and help with posing when need-be!

I never want you to feel nervous or uncomfortable during a session or on your wedding day, my motto is “If you feel uncomfortable, you look uncomfortable”, and that doesn’t show up good in photos! I try to have as much fun as we can during our time together. I hope you leave the sessions feeling loved, and confident!

Fewhhh, you know a lot about my business, but what about getting to know me?!

Well, I’m a 26 year old mom of 2! I’ve been married to my husband, Jose for 4 years now, but we have been together for 9! Jose is my rock, my best friend, my second shooter and best associate shooter. He usually handles the video capturing side of things while I capture photo.

I’m a very down to earth, accommodating, easy going person. I’m very understanding when life hits hard, because I have been there, I’m sure we all have. I hope to always be an ear to someone who needs to vent, a friend to someone who needs one, and a shoulder to cry on. I love all kinds of love and feel everyone should be respected and loved. Your not alone, you are seen and loved❤️
