I love this shot because its hard to tell who its more about. At first it seems like dad- right in the middle, man spread, sly owning grin. But then you see mom and the baby. Is she tickling her to get that smile? Then you notice the looks on the other kids faces. And it seems like everyone has equal claim to this sofa, this space, this photo. And then it dawns on me: That's exactly right! Its about all of them and how they effect each other, cuz that's what family is. And now I guess the reason I like the photo so much is because we captured all that in one frame.⁠⁠⁠
