A sneak peek from Jordan & Ethan’s engagement session last night!

This spot reminds me of the iconic ceremony scene at the end of Bridesmaids. It’s historic, romantic
and makes every movement feel heartfelt. The drone images capture just how stunning the property and landscape is, while documenting the magnitude of their love. I can’t remember a time I haven’t known Jordan, as we’ve been friends since elementary school. It is so special to see her so happy and feel so loved.

From growing up to growing old, I cannot wait to see everything in between then and now for Jordan!

Life update!

On Friday, March 20th, 2026 at 4:09pm, we welcomed our beautiful girl, Leona Lynne Carlson into the world. At birth, she weighed 7lbs 13oz and was 21 inches long.

We are so in love with her, and I cannot wait to take pictures of her as she grows up (perks of having a mom that’s a photographer)!

I shared a few photos a few months ago from their first dance, but their wedding day was too stunning not to share more. It was such a classy and timeless wedding filled with so much love, laughter, and a little liquor to get their dance floor poppin. These two and their guests know how to get down! The energy of their reception was electric, and I live for these moments on wedding days.

A look into Ericka & Shawn's wedding day this past fall.

These two were celebrated by all of their favorite people in October at The High Five in Grand Rapids. It was a sweet, simple day filled with so much love. Being their photographer was such a gift. They were so incredible to capture throughout their engagement session and wedding day. I am so excited to follow along with their journey and see what the future holds for them.

A sneak peek from Cassandra & Jacob’s vow renewal and reception.

These two eloped in Alaska in September and celebrated with all of their favorite people this past Saturday at Ivy House in Saugatuck, Michigan. It was a beautiful (and yes freezing) winter day. Such a special day to celebrate their marriage with all of their loved ones.

I’m busy finishing up a few wedding galleries and sending them home before I go on maternity leave in March and enjoy time with our baby girl. Until then, I cannot wait for couples to keep reliving their best day through their images. So thankful for all of the love and laughter I am able to capture!

Lauren & Nick’s day was EVERYTHING

Celebrating them felt so easy. My heart absolutely melted every time Nick looked at his stunning bride. Their day was filled with so many smiles, a few tears, and a whole lot of laughter. These two soaked up every moment and enjoyed everyone who came to celebrate them.

Caitlin and Kyle had such a fun wedding day. It was filled with so much laughter, and a ceremony that will always be one of my favorites. Their officiant had everyone cracking up. I live for ceremonies that embody the couple and what they stand for in their relationship. Both Caitlin and Kyle are the life of the party and are always laughing, so it was fitting that their day was filled with the same.

Their favorite people definitely showed up for them and busted it down on the dance floor with them. And check out their cute head cutouts of their pups!! Obsessed when couples incorporate their pets into their day.

It was elegant, romantic, and timeless. The perfect combination for an enchanting evening. The Colony Club in Detroit is undoubtedly stunning. A grand ballroom with a vintage, glamorous charm is the dreamiest space to dance beneath grand chandeliers.

Mr. & Mrs. Bruni - Part Two

These two threw one of the BEST parties I've ever been to. The dance floor was poppin' and the DJs had everyone so hyped. With a champagne tower, an outfit change, and custom sneakers, Elena and Landon thought of every detail to make their day truly customized.

These are some of the best reception photos I've ever captured. And don't even get me started on their detail photos of the space. Etre Farms is an absolute dream. An amazing DJ, cool lights, and a couple who're willing to dance all night long create the perfect energy for a dance floor.

Congratulations again to these two. It was truly an iconic day perfectly fit for two iconic people!

Mr. & Mrs. Bruni - Part One

Elena and Landon had the most incredible and iconic wedding day this past July. They tied the knot at Etre Farms in St. Joseph, Michigan. A venue that encompasses the true feeling of elegance for couples and their families.

It was such a joy to celebrate and capture their love. Even their pup Lefty was able to celebrate with her parents. There are so many incredible photos you're going to want to see from their day, so make sure to look at each and every photo.

Weddings like this have everyone feeling like they are on cloud nine.
