reminiscing on ciara & jonathan’s wedding from last june 🤍

ciara & i worked together at hopcat many, many years ago, she bartended at my wedding in 2019, and jonathan played baseball with my husband in high school, so photographing their wedding was truly the perfect full circle, tie of the invisible string ✨
their day was so intentional and intimate and everything a wedding day should be.

it’s been a hot minute since i’ve shared some wedding pics 😅

Jordan & Austin’s wedding this past September was the most intimate and meaningful day filled with many hugs, stolen glances, timeless details and plenty of laughs. The amount of love that filled the room was so overwhelmingly beautiful 🤍 I’m proud to be able to share this day with you all and so honored I got to experience such a truly candid day.

This is your gentle reminder (and very casual tip): when choosing a wedding photographer, look for someone who’s watching everything, not just the timeline. The small, in-between moments are usually the ones that end up meaning the most to us later ✨

Hands down the best part of being a photographer is being a part of so many people’s core life memories. From the proposals and weddings to buying new homes and welcoming new family members - I get to be there for it all, get to document those moments as cherished physical memories.

When you choose a photographer for life’s most magical events, make sure you’re choosing someone who feels that passion along side of you. Make sure you can envision yourself looking back on those photos 40 years from now and still feeling every moment. Find someone who cares about you as much as they care about their art. 🤍

5 months seemed like a solid “no post” hiatus.
