Here’s the thing about these photos… NONE of them were posed or even prompted…in my opinion, here is why and how they were able to get SO many photos like this on their wedding day.
1. They were truly present with one another… not worried about logistics or timeline or what’s next
2. They trusted their photographer (me in this case) with the timeline, with the day & to do my job or both documentary and posed/prompts even necessary…. Simply said they wanted their day documented not just directed
3. They were focused on what mattered most to them… marrying their person & celebrating their marriage with those they love
4. They only had his brother & her best friend as their wedding party. Not saying you can’t get these type of photos with a wedding party but a smaller wedding party does typically mean more time for things like: greeting every guest at cocktail hour, more couples photos and walking in between locations which allows for a lot of natural movement, more time overall for other aspects of the day outside of weddings party photos
5. Prioritized what mattered most rather than trying to fit photos of everything in a short time. Consider how many first looks you want… pick a package that allows all of the important moments with ease.
Overall… presence over perfection 🤍
