I was chatting with a friend about her upcoming session before we trailed off about bo***ir in general. She shared that because she’s been following me since the beginning, she knows when an image is something I’ve photographed before she even sees what accounts were tagged (also friendly reminder to tags your photographers in your pictures 🥰). Her words left me in complete gratitude. I am SO proud of going against the grain to create art that’s not only empowering, but unique and meaningful.

Two years ago, I completely switched up everything about Head to Curve — mainly the way I approached editing and the kind of environment I wanted to nurture surrounding how folks viewed themselves before, during, and after their session with me. I’ve worked hard to craft an experience that is 100% aligned with celebrating EVERY single inch of my muses, and I’m glad it fu***ng shows 🥹👏🏽

I’ve recently seen a post circulating on socials that highlighted several black-owned small businesses in Grand Rapids. Unfortunately, this list didn’t seem to include any black photographers in the area? 🤨 which is strange considering the world truly doesn’t move without black creativity ✨

Alright besties, let’s chat about a few important things going on with Head to Curve:

I’m working on updating my website + collections because I haven’t done it since the middle of 2022… anddd it’s time 😅 if you’ve been thinking about working with me in 2024, now is the time to make things official. I’ll be honoring my old pricing until 1/8 (next Monday). My books are also open through December 2024. That means I hope I’ll see you at some point this year!

I am also switching CRM systems, updating some of my processes and cleaning up old galleries. If we worked together in 2023, you will have until 1/8 to get all of your images saved. If you need any help with that process, please reach out. I’d be more than happy to help ya!

One more thing: I am dropping my 2024 bo***ir bucket list — I’ve got a few theme-ish ideas that I’ve been dreaming up, and I think I’m finally ready to bring them to life. My goal is to have all my inspo boards done + shared next Monday, too.

Basically, LOTS of important s**t going on next week so don’t miss out! Thanks for being here + supporting me in 2024. I love y’all, meannnn it 😘
