Someone said something to me the other day that really changed my mindset.. “ You’re exactly where you need to be” Sometimes we can get so caught up in the things we haven’t accomplished yet and become discouraged because of it… But what if you are exactly where you need to be?

This last week I’ve been letting go of striving, control and worry. Just allowing Jesus to place me where I need to be has brought so much peace. So if you’re in a place of constant striving and discouragement, just take a second to breathe and think about how you might be exactly where God wants you right now!❤️

This was such an adventurous session full of love. Savannah and Trent really know how to let go and just have fun with each other☺️

Which makes me want to share some tips for your engagement shoot as well!

• Instead of making the photo session just a day where you say "hey, we're going to take pictures today.", instead make it a date night! Plan to have some fun before or after the session. Go to your favorite restaurant after the session.
Make it an experience where you get dressed up for not only your shoot, but the whole night!

• Just relax and focus on having fun together. The more you're focusing on each other the better the photos turn out and the more memorable experience
