🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 18 RECAP 🏆

History was on the line Friday night in Grand Junction.

And the Johnson County Cavaliers made sure it belonged to them.

For the first time since 2021, a team closed out the JUCO World Series on Friday night, leaving no doubt who the best team in the tournament was.

Johnson County wins!
An undefeated run.
A championship earned.
A week of disciplined baseball, timely hitting, and finding ways to win when it mattered most.

Credit to Blinn, who battled through the longest road possible, playing more games than anyone left in the tournament and never backing down.

But this night belonged to the Cavaliers.
As the final out was recorded, another chapter of JUCO World Series history was written.

From team photos and arrivals to walk-off home runs, packed stands, and championship celebrations...

What a week.

Johnson County has been the team to beat all week, surviving everything thrown their way and remaining unbeaten.

Blinn has battled through the long road, playing more games than anyone left in the tournament and refusing to go home.

Tonight, we could see a JUCO World Series Champion crowned.

But if Blinn has anything to say about it...
We're playing another day.

One team is chasing perfection.

GAME 17 RECAP ⚾🤯

WHOA.

This one had everything.

Midland came out swinging, jumping to a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning and controlling the game for most of the night. The Chaparrals looked poised to hand Johnson County its first loss of the tournament.

Then the late innings happened. The Cavaliers started showing signs of life.

The Thursday night crowd was completely engaged.
And suddenly we had a game.

Bottom of the 9th.

Johnson County trailing 9-7.
Two runners on.
Then...

💥 WALK-OFF HOME RUN 💥

Ballgame.

Johnson County 10
Midland 9

Just like that, the Cavaliers stay unbeaten and punch their ticket to the championship game.

Johnson County remains unbeaten and has looked every bit like the #1 seed all week long.

A run in the top of the 2nd gave the Sharks an early 1-0 lead and had their fans believing.

Then Blinn answered. And they answered in a BIG way.

The Buccaneers put up 5 runs in the bottom half of the inning and never looked back.

The disciplined and powerful Cavaliers lineup exploded right away, putting up 5 runs in BOTH the 1st and 2nd innings and completely taking control of the night.

And Blinn wasn’t ready for their JUCO World Series journey to end.

The Buccaneers came out with urgency, energy, and experience on full display against LSU-Eunice.

Because by Wednesday in Grand Junction… everybody understands what’s on the line.

Blinn keeps fighting and moves on.

LSU-Eunice’s season comes to an end after another hard-fought run to the JUCO World Series. Great Season to them.
