Okay, I know I’m a few days late, but on May 28th it was National Burger Day! 🍔

As someone whose last name is Berger, I feel like this day was practically made for me. So, to celebrate here’s “Duck Berger” featuring an adorable burger prop. Honestly, can it get any cuter than this?

I’ve fallen a little behind on my national day posts lately (Creativity Day is still coming!), but don’t worry… I have plenty of fun content, photos, and posts headed your way soon. Stay tuned!

Two exciting things to share today!! 🐾✨

First off — last week on May 20th was National Rescue a Dog Day! I didn’t get the chance to post because life got a little busy lately… and for a very exciting reason that I’ll get to in a minute. 👀🐶

National Rescue a Dog Day is such an important day to me. Over the last while, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to work with Journey Home Animal Rescue by taking glamour photos of adoptable dogs to help them find furever homes. Being able to capture their personalities and be even a small part of their adoption journeys has honestly been so rewarding and special to me. Seeing rescue dogs get the love and second chances they deserve is something I care deeply about. I also love getting to meet all the different adoptable dogs and giving them lots of my love!

I’m really hoping to become even more involved with Journey Home Animal Rescue this summer and throughout the rest of the year! There are SO many amazing dogs out there waiting for homes, love, and someone to give them a chance. ❤️

Even if adopting isn’t possible right now, there are still so many ways to help rescue animals:

🐾 Donate supplies
🐾 Volunteer your time
🐾 Walk adoptable dogs
🐾 Share adoption posts
🐾 Support local rescues and shelters

Meet DUCK!! 🐶🤍
My new little mini mascot in training for Alyssas Creative Clicks!

Duck officially joined the family recently and is 2 months old today! He’s a mini husky and is expected to grow to around 20 pounds. Moose weighs about 27 pounds, so they’ll be pretty close in size! Watching them together has already been the cutest thing ever, they absolutely adore each other and have quickly become the cutest little duo around!!

Duck has been doing amazing so far and has already stolen everyone’s hearts. Moose has always loved greeting everyone at the studio, and now Duck will be joining in too! He’ll also be coming along to any outdoor sessions/events in a stroller for the next few months so he can stay safe and supervised while still getting to be part of the fun. So if you book a studio session with me, you may just get to meet BOTH studio mascots. 🐾📸

Today, on Memorial Day, I want to take a moment to honor and remember all of the brave men and women who served and gave their lives for our country. This day means a lot to me personally as well, as my late great uncle who served in the Air Force. While he did not pass in war, having someone in my family who served our country gave me a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices so many military families have made. I am forever thankful for those who have served, those who continue to serve, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🇺🇸

After this month, paint sessions will officially be moved into my Creative Session category and will be priced at $75 + $15 for supplies, making the total session price $100.

Well look at this cute pup, Kai, and his amazing family! 🐾

Kai is an 18 month old lab mix with the sweetest personality! He absolutely crushed his session and gave us so many great photos, both by himself and with his family!

I’m so happy I got to work with these guys and capture these memories for them. You can just see how loved Kai is, and it made this session so special. From playful moments to sweet family photos, this session turned out so perfect!

Kai and his family were also the winners of my last giveaway for the free pet session, and I couldn’t have asked for a better family to win it! Thank you guys again for coming in and trusting me to capture these moments❤️

Today is all about celebrating the amazing moms who make the world brighter every single day! 💐✨ I had the absolute BEST time spending the day with these beautiful mothers and the sweet little humans who adore them most. Watching the love, laughter, snuggles, and special moments between each family was truly so heartwarming. 🥹💕

Yesterday was National Donkey Day, and of course we had to celebrate in style! 🫏✨
So today I’m sharing some photos of my two adorable donkeys, Eeyore and Jingles, the cutest long eared duo around! 💕
Eeyore is the sweet, laid back one, while Jingles is always ready to bring a little extra personality and fun to the day. They keep life entertaining, full of laughs, and definitely full of donkey attitude! 😂

My LAST senior of the Class of 2026 and we’re ending on such a high note!! 🎓✨
Meet Ethan!! We had an absolute blast during his session and captured some amazing photos! Huge congratulations to you, Ethan!! 🎉
Being able to capture these memories for so many graduates this year has been incredibly special to me. I truly love getting to meet all of these seniors, hear their stories, and create photos that make this season unforgettable.
