Since I was a little girl I've always had a camera in my hand or else admiring all the wonderful photographers out there. It's so much more than a picture to me, it's the experience and meeting all new people.

Over the years, a lot of my clients have said their session felt like… more than photos.
Some talk about feeling lighter, more confident, more themselves, it's almost like something inside them clicked into place while we were shooting.
And honestly? I’ve been thinking about that a lot.
I’m curious what you experienced.
If we’ve worked together and your session felt deeper than “smile at the camera,” would you be open to sharing what shifted for you?
Was it something I said? The way I direct? The vibe? The space to just exist as yourself?

To the 12 year old me - You will create a career out of nothing. Create memories for people to cherish for a lifetime, you’ll even go to Lake Tahoe for your first elopement and have it change you in some kind of way. You’ll be a therapist, seamstress, makeup artist and all in go getter to the max. You’ll be around people during the biggest days of their lives while also being around people during their darkest. Photography will bring you chaos that you fall in love with and burns like you’re hearts on fire. You’ll meet the best of friends that you could ever have and make so many deep connections with people that always leave you with your cup full.
You will love hard, you’ll fall in love, fall out of love, fall in again and again until it just clicks. You learn to love yourself and not care what anyone thinks. You’ll be that crazy photographer lady who does the Tina Twerk because you’re like REALLY good at it. You’ll make people laugh and some people cry. Honestly though, it’s going to be a lot of fun and you’ll never regret taking that leap of faith of following your dream.

Also, invest in google stat. 🙏

Some love stories deserve a backdrop as legendary as the Ralph Engelstad. For Katie, this arena has always been more than hockey — it was weekends with her grandpa, family memories, and a place that felt like home.

And for Dylan — a true fan through and through — celebrating their reception here and stepping out on the ice together turned their wedding day into something unforgettable. Not just photos, not just a party — but a full-circle moment where love met legacy.
