I got to help sweet Teddy celebrate his first birthday and he was the BEST boy! I think it’s safe to say he had fun and enjoyed his cake 😂 I can’t wait to meet up with this sweet little family again at the end of the month for some engagement photos!

Matt & Anna spend the majority of the year in Florida and their summers by the CT shore, so it was only fitting that we had their session by the water!

Not to mention that Tucker & Scout are beach pups in every way- so content to be relaxing on the sand or chillin on the paddle board 😭 I had so much fun splashing around with this little fam and watching these dogs live their best lives!

While this was a private beach, there are quite a few beaches here in CT that open up to dogs from October-April! If you’ve got a water pup, these are really fun locations for sessions in the off season!

These past few months have been SO BUSY and I have tonssss of summer content that I’ll be rushing to share with you before all of the beautiful fall photos to come! I figured what better way to take us all into a long holiday weekend than some cute photos of the best girl with her cake from !!!

It should be no surprise at this point that cake smash sessions are some of my favorite photos to take! There’s just something about seeing your pup happy as can be with their own cake while you celebrate their birthday, gotcha day, or even “just because” (I’ve 100% done this for my own dogs 😂😅)

I thought sunrises were stunning, but then I saw this moonrise over the mountains and I almost couldn’t even handle all the beauty 😭

On Wednesday I headed up to New Hampshire with these two beauties to go on a hike and see the wild Lupines! While we were a little late in the season to see the flowers in full boom, we did get to experience this stunning moonrise over the mountains and the colors in person were even more beautiful!

Interested in a session with some scenic views, but it requires a bit of traveling to get there? Not to worry, I’m down to travel anywhere so we can capture the most beautiful memories together!

There’s just something about a sweet sugar face that melts my heart every. dang. time. 😭

Hanging out with Max you’d have no idea this incredibly good boy is a senior pup! During our session he was SO much fun- splashing in the water, playing, and exploring everywhere! It was such an honor to capture these photos of such a clearly distinguished gentleman, and perfect model.

I’m also so so happy to let you all know that I will be offering discounts on sessions with senior pups! Message me for more info on this if you have an older pup who you’d like to get in front of the camera so we can capture some memories!

When it came to their engagement session, Lindsey & Zack knew that their pup Russell needed to be included and man y’all did these three SHOW UP for their session!

I had so much fun with this little fam that I swear my face hurt by the end of our session from laughing so much. Lindsey & Zack rolled with every prompt I threw their way and we really had a blast. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Russ- pretty sure that this pup was born for the model life (and I think I need to have my own dogs hang out with him for a day and teach them a thing or two about posing for photos)

Sometimes you just need to throw your head back and howl at the moon 😂

Hey there! I figured I’d pop out from behind the lens for a post to say hello and introduce myself- and one of my two pups!

I’m Erika and this is my pup Freddie. My boyfriend and I adopted him in December of 2019 out of a rescue in CT after he made a long trip up north from Mississippi! He is an absolute lovebug and has been the perfect addition to our little family. He loves to do everything from going on all-day adventures, hanging out at breweries with us, and cuddling up for movie marathons on the couch. He’s sitting next to me with his head on my lap right now as I type this 🥺

While Freddie is a really good boy, he also has a few things that we are constantly working on! He is pretty fearful of new people and things, so we’re always working on building his confidence and helping him feel more comfortable in scary situations! It’s not always easy, but it’s so exciting to see his confidence grow. This has also been a blessing because it’s helped me to understand how to properly interact with dogs that may be a little more nervous during photo sessions!

I always joke with my clients and say that the secret to pet photography is bribery and a fast shutter speed- so I come prepared to every session with lots of treats, a full camera battery, and a few extra memory cards 😂 Whether your pup is a ham for the camera or they like a little more space, I’m ready for it all!

I love capturing dogs doing what they love best! Sweet Vinny was so fun and had SO much personality! He loved running back and forth between me & his owners playing keepaway with the ball 😂
