This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have today, and we will never forget them.

We also want to shine a light on a local organization that has spent years supporting the veterans in our own community. American Legion Post 163 Parker County TX is facing a difficult situation, and without support, their doors may close for good.

This post is more than a building — it is a place of friendship, support, service, and community for so many of our veterans.

We would love for our community to rally around them. Join us on June 6 from 10am to 4pm at 200 Cartwright Park here in Weatherford as we come together to support an organization that has given so much back to those who served.

Posting this gallery on Mother’s Day feels extra special to me. Never in a million years did I think I’d get the honor of capturing these moments for two people I’ve come to love so dearly. Spencer found his love, and now we’re waiting for the sweetest little piece of both of them🤍
