Not everyone is a fan of Mondays. But maybe we should look at Monday from a different perspective. It’s a new week, with new opportunities to serve, grow in our faith and our goals, and new blessings!

God doesn’t expect us to stay in one place. He gives us opportunities to grow, learn, improve, and sometimes even challenges us to step outside of our comfort zones and use the gifts He has given us.

Sometimes growth means setting bigger goals. Sometimes it means stepping outside of our comfort zones. And sometimes, it simply means doing the work in front of us, asking God to create a clean heart within us, and doing the task with a better attitude and a willing heart.

One of my favorite hymns, “Create in Me a Clean Heart,” is one I often think of when reflecting on this.

This morning during my Bible study, Colossians 3:23 reminded me:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

I thought this was a great reminder for a Monday morning. It’s something that, no matter what your goals are, we can all relate to in some way.

Whatever you’re working toward, give it your best. Press toward your goals, continue growing, and remember who you’re ultimately doing it for.

Pray over your goals and ask God to help you reach them. He is faithful.

Lamentations 3:23: “They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Make it a great week, friends, and be intentional with this Monday! 🤍🤩📒📸😀
