Did you know it’s best to book your newborn session when you’re still pregnant? The best time is the beginning of your 3rd trimester to insure a spot. Occasionally, I can take a last minute inquiry but I take a limited number of sessions a month and this guarantees a spot.

His hair! This little guy was a month old for his session and still so little. He definitely acted his age with being more awake and opinionated but we still got some cute pictures. I never, ever, ever refuse an older newborn. I just be honest and give them a realistic idea of how the session will go. With an older newborn it’s more likely baby will prefer to be wrapped over being posed and that’s totally ok! I will attempt it but baby rules the session and I follow their lead.
Every baby deserves to have a photoshoot even if they’re over 3 weeks old. And sometimes I get a unicorn 4 week old and they sleep the whole time. Every baby is so different!

Did you know I offer milestone packages? If your baby is getting close to turning 6 months let’s chat about a 6 month/12 month milestone package! Baby’s change so much in their first 2 years and it’s so important to document it.

It was so fun using the same prop at each of this little guys sessions to see just how big he got in his first year.
