Photography. Collage. Painting. Inspired by nature
See my website for more info! Photographer. Painter. Artist. But I couldn't let go of art.

After working for nearly 10 years in the advertising world as a marketing photographer, I shifted gears into full time motherhood. I started painting again and now I work in both photography and painting. I try to find a balance between capturing stories on camera, and creating stories in my abstract paintings. These are dried up wild Irises. Growing up my grandparents had a ranch in NV and this was one of the few wildflowers that grew. They will always remind me of that place. Their beauty is now gone with the end of the summer season, but new beauty is being formed in them. A constant reminder that beauty and life are everywhere, even in our deserts of life.

These are the materials I use to create my textured paintings. Why? Because it’s fun…

Getting back in the swing of things on social media, I think.

If you’ve learned anything about me by now, it’s that I’m consistently, inconsistent. It keeps us all on our toes, you’re welcome!
