Has anyone tried these new V series cameras?
I got one too match my R50 and its beautiful for video.
The V series are designed to be more focused on video, obviously. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I've got a few things to say about it soon.
Stay tuned if you want some gear updates

Lets talk framerates and LEDs..

I shoot 4k, I shoot slow motion.
Both of these things drastically mess with LEDs
More clarity means you see every flicker, more frames means you see them EVEN MORE!.
Sometimes when filming you'll get vertical bar like lines in your footage.

So whats the fix? Faster framerates to freeze three flicker?
Nope.
Drop the framerate to about 1/60, boom fixed.
Shooting slow motion is the same. Just drop the framerate.
One last thing to keep in mind shooting is your framerate also works with your focal length.
Just something to keep in mind.
Hope this helps!

Life is getting to the point of needing separate hard drives for each genre.
One for sports, one for music, one for promotional materials, etc.
Not a bad problem to have. Keeps me busy
