SENIOR MINI SESSION

I don’t get to do senior sessions very often, maybe once a year if I’m lucky, but they’re something I truly love. There’s something so special about capturing this moment in a young adult’s life as they stand on the edge of such a big transition from childhood into adulthood.

One of my favorite parts is seeing the support system behind them, the people who show up for them, cheering them on and celebrating this incredible milestone right alongside them.

A huge congratulations to this young man, not only on his upcoming high school graduation but also for his work at Live Oaks in construction. In just the short time I spent with him, it was clear he’s driven, focused, and has a bright future ahead. I have no doubt he’s going to do great things!

Her senior session was my last shoot of 2025, and now she’s my first of 2026… moments like this mean so much 🥰 And when she told me she wanted a greenhouse session, I was SO excited. I’ve been waiting for that opportunity, and wow… it did not disappoint 🌿✨

🗓️ Dates: Weekends only November 8th through November 22nd

📍 Locations: Sessions will be held at local parks (most keep their leaves nicely cleaned up), or I can travel to you, even your home if you’d like leaf photos!

Hear me out ✋🏻 Let your children grow up with the same photographer. 👇🏻

This is something I preach often! This isn’t a gimmick to get you to book me, this post isn’t even about booking ME! Choose a photographer whose style you love, whose work you love, but also whose personality you love, who makes you feel at ease, and return to them each year!

It won’t always start out with your children being comfortable with them, most of the time it won’t feel comfortable for them at all for the first couple sessions! But if you return to them each time you need photos, your children will get used to them, get comfortable with them, maybe even hold their hand and tell them ALL the stories about school, how they got that scrape on their knee, what their brother said yesterday.. You’ll get to know them, they’ll get to know you, and your sessions will feel like a fun meet up with a friend! And as a result, your photos will show that your family is in the company of a good friend and not just a stranger with a camera.

I have families that I work with every year, my heart fills up when their kids run to greet and hug me, call me by name, run to see their photos on my camera, even hop in my car with me to drive to the next photo spot!

If you are one of those families, thank you! Thanks for trusting me year after year and letting me get to know and love your babies! It’s so special to me to watch your children grow in front of my camera! 🤍
