My Maine Magnum Opus šŸ«Ž

I couldnā€™t stop shaking once I landed my drone after capturing this photo of a Moose enjoying his breakfast in the shadow of Katahdin.

I have spent my entire career as a photographer attempting to do justice to my backyard. And as Iā€™ve photographed this area countless times over the years, Iā€™ve always joked that ā€œthe only thing that would make this photograph better is a moose in the frame.ā€

Well, this morning, it happened. And now, I donā€™t know if I can capture anything more iconic.

While I had hoped to photograph yesterday's Lunar Eclipse from this plane ride around Mt. Washington, some clouds on the horizon managed to block the view of it at the last moment. However the air time was not wasted as sunrise was quite a stunner! Thanks to my pilot pal Kristina Delp for the ride!
