Photographs are a wonderful way to fill a home with memories of special events and make special memories out of the ordinary. More than seven years ago I began working with a DSLR camera and kit lens. After hundreds of hours researching and practicing techniques, new lenses and software, photography has become my passion second only to my family. As the mother of 3 young children, I know how great it is when you capture the pure energy of a child in a photograph, even if at times it can be challenging. Hasn't the rain been glorious lately!? Except when you have family photos scheduled and everyone is looking spiffy and you get TWO minutes into your session and it starts POURING!!!! Here's the cute photos we got before we ran to our cars! 😍

I've been capturing this sweet family since their first baby was still in her tummy. When she emailed me to tell me the news, I deleted my post of newborn items for sale! It's always fun to hang out with these kiddos and seeing how helpful they are with their new baby brother is heart warming!
