Few weeks ago Duke's Mom and Dad didn't get the best health update on him. We knew we had to get one last photoshoot in to remember happy Duke with his family. Since moving was hard we made it work in his front yard. The whole time he had the biggest smile and tail wagging. Few days later, he crossed the rainbow bridge.

Please leave all the love, good vides, well wishes, and prayers for Duke's family as they adjust to life without him by their side.

"Don't cry for me mom and dad!
I'm OK now!
I can run like a puppy again!
I can even fly with my new angel wings!"

A few weeks ago I had the honor of getting photographs at the 3HC Luminary Event. Is was even more spectacular in person than the pictures could ever convey.

3HC Home Health and Hospice Care, Inc. is a local non-profit has two in patient hospice facilities - Kitty Askins and Crystal Coast Hospice House. Both are fantastic, love their patients and families, and go above and beyond every day for care. This was one of their many fundraisers to help fund their Hospice houses to be able to provide everything a family and patient may need.

It was so touching to hear all the stories and love they have provided in such sensitive times for many, many loved ones. Thank you 3HC for all you do!

The other week I had the honor of photographing a surprise retirement party at The Angus Barn in Raleigh in the Alice's Room Wine Cellar.

It felt like a magical storybook event. From the food to the staff the night was incredible.

Mr. Ed was able to enjoy a night surrounded by all his close friends and family, reminisce on all his favorite memories at work, and every memory in between. Lots of laughs, tears and love were shared together.

I met the sweetest boy who just turned 10! Everyone, meet DUKE and make sure to tell him just how handsome he is. Hid doggy mom Jodie wanted to get some pictures together since he was getting older and harder for him to move around.
