Finally back to the real world after GGBY ("Gobble Gobble Bi***es, Yeah!") and man was that a BLAST. Haven't edited any real photos yet but here's some favs from my phone from the festival for now :)

This was surprisingly my first and I had an incredible time -- amazing people, tons of cool lines, workshops, and parties. Thank you so much to everyone who helped put this massive event together, the hard work shows so much!!

1. My friends told me to jump off a cliff so I did (in a turkey suit). Turns out turkeys CAN fly if you try hard enough!
2. Me taking a sunset session on the 187m in my turkey suit. Not pictured: me realizing I didn't have my roller with me and having to walk back in the dark

Alright as a follow up to my "mysterious" stories here's why I dug a big old hole in my yard! I haven't poured a sonotube since I was in boy scouts so it was a bit of a trial run for me, but ultimately it worked out (at least the pier hasn't busted yet).

I really hope that the next person who lives here likes slacklining because I really doubt they're gonna take that 300lb piece of concrete out of the ground lol.

We did it!! We finally moved into our new house!!

was a complete hero and packed most of our rental up while I scrambled to finish renovations in the new house ❀️❀️ could not have asked for a better partner to move with

Huge shout-out to Adam, Peter, Ray, and Ish from for making the move an actually enjoyable process. Moving is a hugely stressful jawn but you guys killed it and made us breathe easy throughout the process.

I'm super behind on posting renovation updates but we've done a LOT since my last post so I'll be sure to show some of the progress pictures for the various projects soon!

MASK REVIEW -- WHICH ONE IS BEST??

tl;dr - I highly recommend the Halo Mask (depicted in photos 1 & 2)! It beat out the others by a long shot.

Over the last few months I've been trying out a whole bunch of different masks. I was in jury duty all day every day for a month which gave me a great testing ground for figuring out which mask was most comfortable to all-day use!

I did research to find the masks that focused on breathability and comfort and wound up trying out the following masks. Here's my feelings on them from best to worst

1.) Halo mask - This was the winner! It uses a semi-flexible bridge to keep the mask out of your mouth, which made a little pocket of air in the mask which I think helped make this mask super breathable (even with the n95 filter!!). The inner mask fabric is also reallly soft and comfortable on the face. Their designs are kinda boring compared to some others, but for all-around use the halo mask has become my go-to.

2.) Zensah mask - This one was _actually_ the most comfortable, BUT I think that it's actually a bit too thin to be truly protective (which is part of what makes it so pleasant to wear). The fabric is soft and my favorite part about it was how the straps go around the head rather than behind the ears (allowing you to easily rest it around your neck). If you're looking for a mask for outdoor sports this may be protective enough, but I wouldn't say its effective enough for, say, a plane ride or jury duty.

3.) Fiber-knit mask - this is a cool 3D knit mask that has a single head strap which works surprisingly well. With the filter, it's thick enough to not blow out a candle. On the down side, the material is a bit rough on the skin so it's not comfortable for long periods of time. If you're looking for a low profile exercise mask, then this might be a good fit.
