On May 17th, I was fortunate to be invited out to make a star trail image with some good people, thanks to Suzanne Asaturian, Marta Ketter, and the Friends of the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge It's always a good time mingling when the stars are out at night

This image is a composite image of almost an hour of 30s photos, attached together to show the trails made by the stars as the earth rotates. I'm the upper left, you can see a bright flare from a satellite that moved through the frame.
