Wrapped up the year of shooting exactly how I hope to start the next - with down to earth couples, snowy adventures, and of course the very best doggos 🥂❄️

From the very first minute at Sadie and Will were ready for adventure! Romping in the snow, laughing nonstop, and fully leaning into the moment. Sadie was an absolute CHAMP braving the cold in heels and their sweet doggo, Moose very quickly stole my heart when he laid his head in my lap while I was kneeling down shooting. (I would’ve taken him home if they let me 😂)

This session and getting to know them was pure joy from start to finish and I’m already counting down the days to their wedding this fall!!

Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone! Heading into the new year feeling especially grateful for couples like these ✨

I actually can’t believe it’s almost 2026!! Spending the last few days of this year feeling extra grateful for all of the families and couples that have trusted me with moments like these ones from the fall 🍂. You’re all genuinely the reason I continue to love this career more and more every year 🥹 VERY stoked for what’s to come in 2026! ♥️

The one where your best bud gets engaged 🥹

One of the highlights of our trip back to Colorado this August was taking Jenny and John’s engagement photos! From the parking garages of college to the many apartments in Colorado to countless roadtrips over the country the last 14 years, I’ve navigated so much of adulthood with Jenny. They watched us get married in the CO mountains and Jenny flew back to NH for our little dude’s baby shower …so now getting to document such a special chapter for them before we go back to watch them get married next.. how do you even put that feeling into words?! Im just so excited for them 🥹😭

Vail really came through for us with the most perfect weather, lighting, and sunset alpenglow. Lucy girl 🐶 naturally stole the show running through the meadow living her best life and we had some surprise wildflowers still sticking around, honestly a perfect evening.

I love you guys so much and I literally can’t wait to watch you get married!!! 🥹💍

Happy Tuesday! I don’t think I’ve ever actually done an introduction on here before. So here we go …I’m Alex! I’m a New Hampshire based wedding and portrait photographer capturing all of those joyful, unforgettable moments the matter most with a true-to-life style. Roaming Pine began back in the mountains of Colorado. After eight years out there, we moved back here to NH to start our family and welcome our little one. I took a very intentional step back while moving across the country through pregnancy and postpartum soaking up every second of those early days with our little guy. Fast forward to today as our thriving little toddler dinosaur runs around, my vision for the future together gets more and more clear by the day and I’ve never been more ready to dive back in and expand my entrepreneurial journey ♥️

While I am forever always ready to lace up my hiking boots and capture your story in NH’s beautiful mountains, I’m also officially offering family, couples, and branding sessions in studio as well right here in Goffstown NH! No need to wait out the cold winter months to capture those memories 😍

And to my Colorado friends, don’t worry - we’re not done there either! We’ll be right back again this summer for a long stint and as our little man gets older, we’ll be going back and forth in longer and longer stretches on a more regular seasonal basis. You can’t keep us away from our mountains for very long.. especially after watching our little guy thrive while experiencing his first month of CO mountain life last August 🥹 is very much still in action and booking mountain weddings, elopements, and family sessions for summer 2026!

From the mountains of Colorado to the vineyards of New Hampshire to the coast of Maine - I’ll follow their story anywhere 🥹 It’s been such a gift to capture such special chapters of life for these two (now three!). I’ll honestly just never get over it ♥️

I first met Abby and Caleb while I was living in Colorado for their engagement session in the mountains. We instantly clicked, bonding over our shared New England roots and love for travel. Not long after, they asked if I’d come back east to photograph their wedding, a genuine dream of a day at the vineyard surrounded by their family and friends. 💍

Now, years later with a new little love in their lives, we met at sunrise on the coast of Maine to capture this new season of life as a family of three. We chanced the weather and drove through rain on the way there - and just like it did on their engagement and wedding day, the rain stopped and skies cleared just in time and gave us the most beautiful light.

Sunsets to remember 🌅 I first met Jackie and Chris back in 2021 in Colorado after they eloped in the mountains 💍 They were expecting little Maddox then 🥹 A few years later here we are on the coast of New Hampshire running around with Maddox capturing this next chapter of life with his little brother on the way 💙 What a wildly beautiful life this is

The absolute sweetest elopement day 🥹 In their questionnaire when I asked Macy and Marcus what was most important to them when it came to their elopement experience, they wrote “Good company, good food, and good pictures. Simple as that! We just want to celebrate our love with the people we care about most, share a delicious meal together, and capture our special day so we can relive it for years to come.” And when I tell you that answer made my heart SING. Their day was filled with so much intention, love, and everything that mattered most to them. We thought the rain might block out all of the mountain views but the clouds began to rise and the mountains started peaking through just in time - seemingly just for them 🥹 A perfect day all around ♥️♥️♥️

This day ♥️ From bubbleguns at the ceremony (10/10 recommend!) to cutting their cake with SWORDS(!!!) to Laura making her own dress and details (😍😍😍), these two brought so much joy, intentionality, personality, and FUN to their wedding day on the mountain!! Best day ever 🙌🏻
