THESES LAST COUPLE DAYS IN TEXAS HAVE BEEN COLD!🧊

I get asked all the time are you not cold like a day like today? 60° out. 🤣 Nope, that my normal weather is grew up in! As long as it's not windy like friday was im good to go! 🥰

So lets take me back to my WA time this last month! Some of my favorites! Not all but some! ♡

I have been to busy to share theses! 🏃‍♀️

Theses are my family. My ride or dies and people i truly get excited to see! 🤗

Some of theses kids I have seen since they were babies! Some couples now i photographed them getting married and now have babies!

✨️LET’S TALK 2-YEAR-OLDS! 😂📸

Two-year-olds and photo sessions aren’t always easy. I’m going to be real with you, no sugarcoating!

Two-year-olds usually want the people they know and love most. Sometimes they have the WORST RBF (resting face 😂), and they’re not always going to be your little supermodels… unless you’ve had them in front of a camera constantly!

And that’s just the fact of the matter. 🤷‍♀️

Their personalities are BIG. Their opinions are STRONG. They’re almost always hungry, and on average, their listening ears are nowhere to be found. 😬😂

My own kids? They’ve been in front of my camera since they were literally 24 hours old! I call them my *trained monkeys.* 🐒😂 They walk into my studio and practically expect a photoshoot. They think my job is cool, and they love all my props and everything that comes with it!

But that’s NOT the norm, and I never expect your toddler to act like mine.

✨️So, do you photograph their personalities at this age? ABSOLUTELY! ❤️

If they give me the stink eye, refuse to look at the camera, or would rather play with TWO little blocks than cooperate… we roll with it!

Because you know what? Those silly faces, wild expressions, curious little hands, and stubborn personalities are all part of who they are RIGHT NOW.

I’m not always looking for the perfect smile. Sometimes, I’m looking for the real them.

One day, you’ll look back at these photos and laugh at that exact little face they used to make. You’ll remember how independent they were, how they did things on their own terms, and how BIG their little personalities were.

You can't get this age back. ❤️

So let them be two. Let them explore, play, make faces, and show me who they are.

Because sometimes, the photos you didn't plan are the ones you'll treasure the most. 🥹📸
